Coop, Tech Dewayne, Kevin, Ken, Lance (and others I’m sure I’m forgetting) are just incredible people that truly care! It took me a bit to get adjusted, as I had never done residential treatment before, but then I began to actually enjoy groups (most of the time). I’ll be forever grateful for RVA and I am actually going back to college to get my BSW and MSW and hopefully work here one day! The therapists are also amazing and caring- shout out to Jenna who inspired me to follow my dream and go back to school. Recovery Village is not perfect, there were some staff that were mean and honesty exacerbated my issues however overall the experience was highly beneficial. If you are someone who needs help processing family matters or any type of drug and alcohol issue I do believe That this facility can help there are certain therapists there that are just excellent and want you to get better.
